The needs of children, schools and colleges are the top priority in Birmingham City University Faculty of Education. Our courses for intending teachers, serving teachers or those simply interested in education issues cover the entire range of school phases from infant to continuing education, at every study level from full-time undergraduate to postgraduate level and PhD.
Our courses are nearly all based at Perry Barr (City North Campus), although students training to teach have placements all around the West Midlands. In some cases, courses are held in partnership institutions. Students consistently describe the staff as friendly, supportive and accessible.
